• WHY UGAOO PERLITE – This 500 g of pure horticulture-grade perlite is expanded volcanic glass, sieved and rinsed at the Ugaoo facility to minimise dust.
• STERILE, INORGANIC AND pH-NEUTRAL – Naturally weed, pest and disease-free, with a near-neutral pH of about 6.6 to 7.5. Perlite will not decompose or lock up nutrients, so a single pack keeps its structure season after season and can be reused without breaking down.
• IMPROVES AERATION, DRAINAGE AND ROOT GROWTH – Mixing perlite into any potting soil instantly lightens it, opening up air pockets that improve drainage and oxygen at the roots. This helps prevent waterlogging and root rot in indoor plants, a must-add through the monsoon.
• HOW TO USE – Mix 1 part perlite to 4 parts of your potting soil, cocopeat or compost for a light, free-draining mix, or use it 1 to 1 with cocopeat for seed-starting trays. No tools needed; a quick rinse before first use gives the cleanest, lowest-dust experience.
